Last of the summer pictures in Provo

Today was the last day in our ward.  As I sat in class, I thought of all the incredible people I've met in this ward and how blessed I've been to meet so many good friends.  I came here three years ago, with a brand new baby, an overwhelmed husband, and no idea what I was doing.  I prayed and prayed for a friend.  I felt so alone.  Then, only after living here a couple of weeks, the cutest girl living down the hall, invited me to a girls night to watch, "The Bachelor."  I was so excited.  Since then, I have met so many wonderful girls who have really made my experience here one I will always cherish.  Heavenly Father knows us so well and really does use other people to help us feel His love.  I will miss this place more than I can say, but I also know that it is time for the next chapter and I am ready.
Tim has been studying 12+ hours a day for the bar and he takes it on Tuesday.  It's been a rough couple of months, but I'm so grateful for my hard working husband.  Even with all the stress of this dumb test, he is still the sweetest sexiest man alive.  These pictures are some of the last things we've done up here before the move:

Tons of Pictures Update

Ty is the sweetest baby I have ever met.  Seriously - a total joy and boy, does he love his mamma.  This whole Plagiocephaly thing has been a bit of a trial, but because of his happy disposition, the helmet doesn't seem to bother him much.  He wears it 23 hours a day but because it makes him extra hot, he got a heat rash, so he gets a little break for a couple days - no fun.
It is tricky to put on and get just right.  Most the time, his eye kind of droops.

My beautiful grandma and mom - watching Bridger play at the Rec Center
The 4th of July was wonderful this year.  Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays and Provo does it right.  I got to see the hot air balloon party from the top of a mountain, Bridger learned all about fireworks, and while Tim watched the boys, I went to the Stadium of Fire with my family.  What a show!  Tim says I was born in the wrong decade because 70s music is my jam.  Journey put on an awesome show and Lindsey and I sang our hearts out.  It was my brother's birthday that day, and I thought about him the whole weekend.  Ryan would have been right there, rocking out with us.  I miss that boy.  He'll be home from his mission just in time for Christmas and I can't wait.  We'll crank up Styx and Journey and dance around the kitchen island, like the old days.  (Hopefully he won't think its devil music.)

The rest of these are just random pictures taken over the last month.  Its been an awesome, hot summer

Ty is 6 months

Ty is six months and on the move.  I put him on his back on one side of the room and he rolls to the other side in about ten seconds.  If he sees something he wants, he scoots his body around and rolls horizontally until he reaches it.  This is a fun stage, but it is harder to go to the bathroom, or leave stuff out on the floor.  Ty's favorite chew toy would be any electrical cord - even if I hide it under the couch, he will roll to the couch and stick his arm under couch and try to pull it out.  Ty is sleeping through the night and wakes up around 6 a.m.  He gets the master bedroom all to himself (since there are no neighbors on his side of the wall) and Bridger, Tim, and I get to sleep in the guest bedroom with the non-working toilet.  Ty is generally a very happy baby who absolutely adores his brother.  He always has his fingers in his mouth, or trying to find something better to suck on.  I can't believe how fast time has gone.  I never thought I would say this, let alone think it, but I miss my baby.  However, I love that I'm not nursing anymore (judge all you want).  I love watching him devour baby food and gabbing to himself while I'm making dinner.   He is such a delightful boy and I love him so so much.
Bridger is in my favorite stage right now.  He is talking talking TALKING.  He says the funniest things - Tim and I just laugh at him all day.  Bridger is so full of life and spunk and sweetness.  Yesterday, we hiked to the top of the Y.  Bridger didn't stop once the entire way up.  I really don't know where he came from, but he is a strong boy, through and through.  I adore him.
Bridger builds these elaborate cities with his blocks - over and over again.
Lately, anything that Bridger can find around the house, is his favorite new toy.  Every few days, I'll see him running around the house with a clothes hanger, making airplane sounds, flying the hanger above his head.
